Definitely worth a try

I have two cats, one was established so not pleased about the arrival of the second. After 6 years of living together, they no longer fight but the first cat still hisses at the second. This causes him stress and he occasionally gets Cystitis which requires vet treatment and a course of medication. I tried Feliway some years ago before it changed to Feliway "Friends" and didn't find it helped. However, my vet recommended the "Friends" version and here's what I have found. The cats have been sleeping closer together than ever before and the first cat is much happier in himself. He has been much more affectionate toward me, which I find odd but lovely. He still hisses at the second cat if he gets in his face, so it's tricky to say how he is responding to the Feliway, hence a 4 star, not 5. In summary, I do feel it has helped and I will be buying another refill when this one runs out as it's really not that much money for a happier cat.Read full review

feieay friends difficult refil

Using feliway friends now for 3 months. Was recommended by vet as our 4 year old cat fur bites and licks to boldness. Suggested he was stressed re territory due to our other cat maybe other cats in neighborhood. Otherwise he seemed like his usual self. Since using feliway he is v odd. Still fur biting ect and very clingy always asking for food and not going out as much. Has started fighting with the other cat, something that never occurred before. I'm utterly perplexed. It's not an allergy and this was my last option. Will use until this last one runs out but it's not helping however it's definitely having an effect! Just not the desired one.Read full review

Feliway friends has greatly reduced the conflict between my long term cat & recently acquired abandoned cat, which was bullying my original cat & very aggressive towards me. A week after using this new cat is much less agressive toward me & not bothering the other cat. I was dubious as to usefulness of this product. It has proved its worth. I am absolutely delighted. I didn't get my hopes up that this would work. And I'm still amazed at how well it worked. Kitty drugs...

Used regular Feliway before and had a good response from my slightly neurotic, half Siamese so, when integrating my three cats into their new home with two resident cats it seemed a no brainier to try this. It hasn’t stopped all issues and isn’t a magic cure but I’m sure it is making the transition easier as behaviour did deteriorate and we suddenly realised it had been 30 days and it’d run out. Friends for life

We just got a new 5 month old male kitten. Our 2 female cats didn't like him much, lots of hissing, spitting and growling. Our vet recommended this product so we gave it a try.
