Excellent, well made product at an almost unbelievably good price.
To begin I was concerned if my rather heavy and large ½ shaft 1500watt router would fit into this router table as I was never too sure where the exact measurements were meant to be made. Fortunately it all worked out very well indeed and my router fitted perfectly.
The table is made from thick cast aluminium, the legs are firmly bolted to the top and are made from pressed steel with non-slip rubber feet. The fully assembled system sits perfectly on my Black and Decker Workmate, which just sets up the table top at perfect working level.
Previously I was very disappointed with my purchase of the router. Nothing wrong with the router it was just that I found it almost impossible to operate hand-held. In case you did not know, and I did not, a 1500 watt router is a large, powerful and highly dangerous instrument not easily mastered by a novice.
This router table has mastered my almost suicidal router, I can now enjoy using this combo which makes it vastly more pleasurable to create some fairly complex and accurate mouldings. I have no hesitation in recommending this well made, very solid and secure router table.
The only niggle was the assembly which I found quite difficult due to the utterly incomprehensible instructions. It took me about two hours during which I used the wrong parts in the wrong places, which did not become evident until later in the assembly when I found remaining fittings and screws which did not fit. After three attempts at reassembly I appear to have got it right. Still well worth the effort.

Not a great router table
The router table is OK, It is made of aluminium and is level and steady. The router is held firmly in position with bolts and through steel straps. . The scale provided on the table is moulded and less than precise. It is pretty much up to you how to interpret it as the chances of you getting your router bit absolutely central through the hole is low.
If your router uses the two spanner method to change the bit, prepare for a lot of faffing around as you try to maneuver them under the table. You can of course remove the router to do this but this is even more of a laborious job.
The worst bit about this table is the strange fence provided. It is plastic and for some reason can be extended horizontally but not adjusted vertically and mine does not lie at 90 degrees to the table The bolts on it are short and held by plastic knobs on washers. These drop off if you unscrew them more than a few turns and rattle about if you have not sufficiently tightened them. There are so many of these on the table attachments, there is a fair chance you will find one on the floor after a job.
I cannot say it is a pleasure to use but it does a job.
Personally I wish I had saved my money and bought a quality table with an inbuilt routerRead full review

Worth the money
This is a great little table for a low price. All the parts are there to set up a fully functional table, even though there are no instructions, the pictures give sufficient information to set it up.<br>The fence is not very substantial and the adjustment is worth measuring despite the "ruler" on the table. Run a test piece through to check your setup and away you go.
On the plus side it has dust extraction fittings and the clamps for the router are universal, The table is sturdy and level when assembled.
The drawbacks are the power lead being about a foot long, and there being nothing supplied to hold the router trigger on during use (A cable zip tie will do that job for you). The plastic fence is also a bit... well, plastic, but not too flimsy.
Overall, you will be hard pressed to find better kit for the price, and if you have never used a table before, you will wonder how you managed without one.Read full review

This is a sturdy wee table. Measure carefully the size of your router base plate. My Screwfix router does not fit.
The cheap Wicks router is also too big. Check your base plate before purchase or invest in a Ferm router, then keep the old one for worktops!

Solid but fiddly
Solidly built but the fence and sub fence were very fiddly. That wouldn’t really have mattered as with a bit of alteration etc could have been ok. The worse thing was trying to fit the router. The support brackets and bolts leave a lot to be desired. Trying to centre the router is next to impossible and I have a Ferm router!!
Instructions are not very good and I’ve ended up with a nice supply of washers. Sorry Ferm, but not good.Read full review

Strong and rigid
Excellent quality for the money, firm and rigid, with a aluminium table, very good fixings for universal routers. Rails are a little flimsy, but l strengthened mine with a piece of plywood. All in all a very good buy.Read full review

Good value Router table
The item is fine, the only thing that was not so good was the assembly instructions. They were a little vague. Apart from that I am very happy with it.
