Should have seen this in a shop to see it operate
Opening & closing not an easy operation. Opening can cause the loose step to flop open and then the remaining shoots back up. You definitely have to have the knack of operating these stairs. Not ideal for short people. Read full review

A really clever, easy to fit loft ladder, which works a treat. When positioning, you need to set the opening end of the casing 400mm from the wall to allow the ladder to unfold without hitting the wall, something not included in the instructions.Read full review

Fitting the loft ladder was a doddle and only took a couple of hours, mainly single handed, after reading the instructions and watching the video. The thing that took the time was trimming the opening as, due to the age of our house, the joists were at anything other than 600 c/c's.
