Great product, problem solved!
I painted some old curtain rails and rings recently when getting new curtains. Because of the paint, the friction caused meant the curtains wouldn’t open without having to individually move each ring. I bought this item and after a very easy install (I tucked inside rings rather than take curtains down) they are smooth as anything and you can’t see the clear tape at all. 100% recommend if you have a similar issue!Read full review

Didn’t Use
I didn't use this product since once it is used on a telescopic curtain rail, the rail no longer contracts to allow it to be refitted without disassembling the all the end stays. Trying to thread the tape through the curtain rings while in place was too fiddly. I give the benefit of the doubt that the products works.Read full review

Great product!
This is a great product! We bought new curtains for 3 windows last year. We had pull cords on the old ones which were very quiet but the new ring top ones were very noisy and restrictive to pull. I searched to resolve the problem and found this tape. I ordered 3 and we attached it as soon as they arrived. It's brilliant! the curtains are so easy to pull across and very quiet now. So much easier!
We've moved to a house where there are smart stainless curtain rails, but I quickly discovered the rings didn’t pull across quietly, and got stuck where there are joins. I’d been wondering about putting some tape over the joins when I saw this ad.

Solves a very annoying problem
At last I can pull my curtains without the rings getting stuck. It is crucial to apply the tape to the whole length of the pole, so one pack does not go very far.

I was about to buy a full new pole then I heard about ezyglide ordered Thursday arrived Saturday. Unpacked it 15 mins ago and is now up and working. Thank goodness someone has invented this product. A strip of silicone plastic that takes away all the tugging and pulling of curtains to stop them catching on extendable poles. If snagging curtains are a problem don't think about it - just buy it.
Easy to fit took down curtains, pole and rings in-situ measured the tape, dusted the pole placed the tape on top of the pole and staring at one end slid the tape under the rings then peeled back the red backing smoothing the tape as I went along the pole until I was at the other end. Re hung curtains and felt them smoothly glide (I did this several times as I was so impressed). Tape is invisible, saved £50 on new pole.. Read full review

Great product.
What a simple idea, but simple ideas are (usually) the best. Extendable curtain poles are fantastic for easy fitting, with no fiddly cutting to size. Their downfall is the annoying catching of the curtain rings on the join, and the endless tugging to loosen them! The Eazyglide tape solves this, with the added bonus of stopping the clanking sound of metal rings on metal pole. Very easy to fit, even with curtains in situ. stunningly effective
I've got two heavy, 6-foot x 13-foot curtain panels hanging from brushed nickel rings on a rather narrow brushed nickel rod. They were nearly impossible to move beforehand. I installed Ezyglide as a single strip across the top of the rather narrow curtain rod, which took about an hour including tall ladder assembly and climb time. I was stunned to see that my curtains actually do GLIDE now. They're 10 times easier to move, and much quieter when doing so. Oh the joy
I cannot describe the pleasure I get from my curtains gliding effortlessly back and forth across that metal pole. No more yanking, tugging and hooks that fall down due to catching on the stupid join on the pole. This stuff really works. Shame it's so pricey. By the way, it's invisible. The red stuff peels off, leaving a thick plastic tape. Wish I had known about it before I installed the poles and curtains, however, it was possible to put up with the curtains already in situ.Read full review

What a great idea! I put up an extendable curtain rail but the extension joint wasn’t in the centre of the pole so I couldn’t draw one curtain over the joint easily. Easy glide was so simple to use and allowed the curtain to slide smoothly along the rail. Ingenious idea.Read full review
