Good metal chop saw for hobbyists which will get the job done.

Good shop saw for hobbyists. It is easy to use and the cut are very smooth
Not a lot of sparks and the workpiece will not get very hot. You can cut from 0° to 45°

Cons:
-No soft start on the motor, so you should really hold on it when started.
-The 90 degree angle is not very accurate, so you have to fiddle the workpiece to get it straight.
-Same goes with the 45 degree angle, hard to adjust correctly.
-There are only 3 mounting holes for clamping the saw to the workbench, since this is a wobbly alu casted bed, a fourth mounting hole would be better.Read full review

Big, heavy, nice, med joint quality, transport problems

1. Transport problems, open bag, full of white package residues. I don't now if this is from PitneyBows or Greek custom inspection. Package white hitted in many places. The item dellivered 90° turned<br>2. Whole black base needs to lubricate cause parts are not easily moved. Some adjustments to screws.
3. Hitted blade's protection
4. The uk plug problem. Guys when you sell in a country with eu plug, sell with eu plug, although uh plug is better with contsining 10A fuse
5. Many holes in black joint of the base
6. Registration made in Evolution but I don't see my other products in account, like I do in Makita or Milwaukee
7. Package white glued in black base

Evolution... I could rave all day about the efficiency of this saw...

I have had several chop saws over the last 20 years but i was very impressed with this bit of kit, Very efficient cutting blade it states that outlasts 20 chop saw ones (i have yet to disprove that fact)... i have used mine for a week on a lot of jobs and over the moon with it and no sign of wear on the teeth as yet ( at least 4 chop saw blades would be in the bin now)..
Nice weight so you are not chasing it around the bench or ground looks and feels well made..
