It does exactly what it says on the tin
If you've ever used that expanding foam then you'll know that it gets everywhere, even the pro's have problems, I'm sure. This stuff Foam Eater says that it will remove cured foams from most surfaces. I had some cured foam on a upvc door and frame. I read the instructions and applied the Foam Eater and left it for the recommended 1 hour. When I went back it looked just the same as I'd left it so I thought, hmmm. Anyway I used a flat piece of wood to start to get it off the frame and it just came off, so I fetched a paper towel and literally just wiped of the residue and all of the cured foam came with it. The upvc was unmarked and the foam had been dissolved leaving the frame looking like new. Excellent product.Read full review

Unfortunately it not work as advertised
Although I was looking forward to making quick work of the remainig traces of expanding foam on a door frame, this product did not work for me.
I used it to remove Everbuild's own brand expanding foam after it had cured onto a powder coated aluminium door frame.
Even after two applications (apply 2 mm coat and wait for one hour) I was unable to wipe away the foam residue.
The residue is only a very thin film as I had followed the instructions and tried to scrape away most of it with a spatula.
Ultimately resorted to scraping the rest away too with a scraper being very careful not to damage the frame.
I give it a few stars as it was not very expensive and it may work better for you. I assume the manufacturer must have seen it working at some point during product testing.
Maybe it needs to be really old foam (mine was only a week old)
P.S. I also tried it on some pure foam that had set to see if it would "eat" any of it but unfortunately the foam did not take any notice.Read full review

ITS GOOD READ
I'm a builder , I have used foam for upvc countless times , usually I get it of straight away on customers houses obviously , On my mums I didn't , I left the foam on all summer , As soon as I had a free day in December , I tried everything , like everything . Comercial /trade solvent cleaners , cream cleaners , plastic scrapers , nothing touched it . I applied THIS STUFF and left it for 4-6 hours and applied it very thick . 60% wiped straight off , I then applied another thick layer , I left it over night and a further 30% came off , for most people , that would of been good enough , and although these are old plastic Windows , so in my experience even harder to get off than new , I am very fussy and wanted every bit off , so applied another thick coat and left it a couple of hours because I was impatient at this stage for leaving the foam on in the first place . I used an old good cotton t-shirt because it's rough without scratching the plastic and elbow grease . AND EVERY LAST BIT OF FOAM WAS GONE GONE NOTHING .. I then used a cream cleaner or upvc restorer , and the plastic looks knew . My point is this stuff works it eats the foam , just be patient and elbow grease at the end if needed . I wouldn't of removed the foam without this stuff . Put it on thicker , leave it longer , scrub it harder , apply it again . I believe I can get Any foam off any pvc with this stuff , havnt tried it on anything else don't plan too :) hope this helps .Read full review

It did the job
After realising nothing removes the residue of dried on foam from the woodgrain upvc frames I gave this a try as my last resort.
I followed the instructions & it actually did soften the stains & I was able to wipe off with just a small area needing a second application to complete.
I`ve previously been able to just pull of surplus foam & scrape bits off with thumb nail BUT that was on White upvc ! Woodgrain caught me out, but this product saved the situation thankfully.Read full review

Works amazing on foil wrapped upvc windows.
Had my doubts given the other mixed reviews on eBay and Amazon but I followed the instructions for the product i.e. I put it on at least 2mm thick and left it for a bit longer (about 2 and half hours) on my foil wrapped upvc windows and then I wiped them off with a wet cloth and hey pesto every last bit of foam was gone. Note that I had removed all the foam that I could by hand first. Thoroughly recommended!Read full review

Didn't work
Used this to try and remove dried on foam from a pair of "Rohan" trousers. Despite a couple of applications and fairly violent rubbing the foam is still evident. Ive kept the tin as it may work better on solid surfacesRead full review

Does what it says.
Used this tentatively on new, sprayed, pvc windows. Excellent !! We are decorators and now keep it in our kit. We used it as directed and only on a small are of damage, but will use more confidently in future. Very impressed indeed.Read full review

Is this really for you?
This paste may well clear foam overspills okay, but is difficult to get into the crevices in the dispenser. This means
that unless you use the whole can of the foam you cannot clean the dispenser with this cream. It would have been better as an aerosol.Read full review

Works Great
Foam filler spillage is a nightmare to remove from surfaces once dried on, so it was great to find this & that it does a brilliant job.

Doesn't do what it says on the can
Used as directed
didn't clean off any of the foam
resorted to acetone which was cheaper and worked really well
