Economical way to seal a garage floor
The garage floor was ALWAYS dusty, it was nearly always concrete dust. I bought three 5ltr bottles of this stuff for a garage approx 5m x 3m. It has worked very well. The floor is completely sealed, no more dust.
Our floor has not been screeded. It is very rough, very absorbent ridged concrete, so on a smooth floor you probably won't need as much. But to be honest, the stuff is so cheap, compared with other finishing and sealing products, it is still a very economical way to get a sealed floor which is going to be so much easier to clean.Read full review

Easy & effective fix for dusty concrete floors.
Applied to a worn garage floor, did first half approx 5m square and required 10 litres - it was in bad condition and very easily abraded, now is substantially better. I imagine would use less on a better floor but my view this is great, practical product given terrible condition of floor.. I've subsequently bought another 25 litres for rest of garage & a barn. Stops 'dusting' on concrete floors - by far the cheapest option I could find...... applied it with my garden sprayer - only took minutes to do my garage! (keep the spray moving to prevent 'pooling'). One of the simplest jobs I've done. Couldn't award 5 stars...because time will tell how long it lasts.....no worries though, because there's enough left for at least 2 to 3 more applications! Amazing Stuff
Bit dubious about this stuff, got it anyway, and boy does it work. After the two recommended costs, the garage floor where it was used is like granite. Really surprised how well this stuff works. It’s made by a company called Sika, and after discovering that I knew why it is so good.
Only downside, it states on the label, you can’t paint over it, and I bought this as a prep before the paint, tried a corner of the garage with mixed results, I was able to paint over it, Leyland Heavy Duty Floor Paint, first coat thinned, then two more coats, and it seemed to adhere well, but didn’t want to risk having a whole garage floor peeling with paint, so followed the advice on the packet, and didn’t use it.
It was used under the washing machine, and sink unit in the garage, and believe me, no more dust or scratching the floor when moving the washing machine.
It applies easy with a brush/roller, and cured quickly quickly in this 2020 summer, still left it the correct time before applying again. Highly recommended if you want a dustless garage floor, and can’t be bothered, or don’t need a painted garage floor/risk the paint peeling under the weight of a car. I painted my floor as I’ll be using it as a little workshop.
Sorry about the photos, the dark area going under the washing machine is where the hardener was used, so it does change the colour of the concrete, but it so hard now, unbelievable.Read full review

Everbuild 403 Concrete hardener, Dustproofer & Sealant
This product really worked marvellously on my large garge concrete floor. For some time I have had a very dusty garage floor even when I had under coated & painted the floor. The builder who built the garage, done me no favours by storing a stack of lime bags on the floor once he had laid it.
However, I did quite a lot of hard work on the concrete floor, I then tried this "Everbuild 403 concrete hardener & and dust proofer, Wow! this stuff really does harden & dustproof a concrete floors, and thouroghly recommend its use to any one laying a concrete floor and allowing the normal concrete hardening process after laying it.

Used on garage concrete floor. Washed and cleaned the concrete floor with water. The next day when the floor had fully dried applied Everbuild concrete hardner & dust-proofer. Allowed to dry and applied second coat. Easy to apply with a roller. No more dust and the floor is so easy to clean. Used about half the amount in the container.
