Effective roof repair product
Very quick and easy to apply. I used this product previously and found it to be excellent at sealing small gaps in roofing felt. I was completing a temporary repair to a badly leaking garage roof but the repair has lasted over 18 months with zero water ingress. Happy to use it again. Better than a raincoat!
Black Jack waterproof coating was a real find, when I got onto my shed roof I found that the tar felt had so many holes in it looked like a piece of Nottingham lace. One coat of Black Jack and appearance wise the roof looked like new. Unnecessarily I put on a second coat just to use up the rest of the tin, my shed roof looks like new and more importantly it no longer leaks when it rains! A sad loss to maintenance contractors.
I have specifiied this material (all weather compound) for years, the better compound for use though is the bitumen based compound as it is easier to use, less expensive, can be used in areas of high humidity, and dries quickly allowing foot traffic and should be considered the prime allweather compound. Sadly, it has been phased out and is no longer easily available. Bostik should reconsider it's marketing strategy.Read full review

Easy to apply and leaves a good finish
Its easy to apply using a roller. I recommend using a paint stirrer to mix it up well first. It goes a long way. I used it to stick down the overlaps on my 10x6 shed roof and apply 2 coats with some still left overRead full review

An easy to use option
A marvellous product which is do easy to use, just like paint but stirred a bit more frequently to keep the fibres mixed. A very good, quick alternative to re-felting. Dries quickly too.

easily did my 6 x 3 mt. garage roof. had a slight problem with a section with pooling water as the roof is flat. used a cheap 4 in. brush ( to bin after) . stirred the can very well and it went on perfect. had a 1/4 can left to go over the pooling area again. no more damp patches on the garage ceiling.( so far )Read full review

I thought it would be better than it was. I expected a 1 coat but had to go 2. Other than that it has done the job. I will buy again and keep my shed roof happy. Guess I was the fault for leaving Maintenance so long. I would recommend this product. Also I recommend the buyer.Read full review

Sealed my shed roof
This stuff took a bit of mixing to get the fibre like material distributed evenly throughout the liquid. It was easily enough applied with a cheap brush nylon i think which i threw out afterwards. There was enough to coat a 12x10 foot shed roof once with very little left over. Its quite messy so i was glad i had wore old clothes and gloves.Read full review
