I bought this to replace an excellent Advent printer which finally stopped working. The Epson XP 442 is easy to set up and use. Only niggle relates to the copying and scanning function which relies heavily on correct placement on the glass. I found placement of photos tricky. But practice makes perfect.Read full review

Very attractive compact printer. Easy to set up and the Wifi is really useful, no messy wires to connect. Print quality first class, especially photos. Photocopying and scanning facilities easy to use. All in all a very sophisticated printer/copier/scanner but a delight to use especially with the built in monitor screen. It can be used without a computer to copy documents, scan photos onto a SD card and print them, or insert a SD card from your camera and print your photos. The possiblities are endless. Overall a nice little printer, it’s quiet, & prints off documents & photo’s very fast! However I only had one annoying niggle, during setting it up with printing photo’s. Colours were all over the place, & there were orange lines across the pictures!! Being a brand new printer, I was surprised what was going on? Excellent home printer, small and compact.

This is an excellent printer where space is at a premium and was the main reason for the purchase.
It has separate inks so only necessary to change one colour at a time..
