Searing tone and great fret access
Been playing Gibson and Epiphone Les Pauls and SGs for years. I also own a Japanese made Elitist Les Paul Standard Plus.
This guitar is simply incredible. Good amount of weight, but not a back breaker. The EMGs scream distorted and are crytal clear when playing clean. There is a bump killswitch on the neck tone pot which is fun to play with.
The neck is amazing. It's not really a 60s slim taper as advertised (which is what my other LP and SG both have). It's slightly thicker than that at the headstock but the closer to the body you get the thicker it gets. It's not as thick as a '59 round back neck either though.
The axcess neck heel is simply amazing. Something every Les Paul should have. High fret access is a breeze.
Tuners are solid and work excellent, ebony fingerboard is smooth and the inlays are fitted well, binding on the body neck and headstock are all excellent, and the pots and switch all work smoothly without any noise or popping.
This is a solid guitar all around.Read full review

2012 Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro
This guitar came well packaged and with a little love it looks brand new. It came in great shape. I put new Gold Grover Tuners on it for perfection and some new Epiphone Gold Top Hat Knobs. Super rad guitar with great sounds. The coil tapping Knobs are a super plus for shutting off half of each pickup when you want. Thanks for the rad guitar! Super Plus is the date of the guitar, it was built on the same day my daughter was born!! Rock on 🤘🏼Read full review

Solid
This guitar is a beast. The all-black look is great, and it has some weight to it, giving it a very solid feel.
The only complaints I have are the 24.75 scale length, which can pose some problems when going for lower tunings (although it was designed for Matt Heafy, who I assume sticks to standard tuning so that's excusable); the EMG active pickups, which sound too sterile in my opinion, and really require a high end amp to achieve a good tone; and the ebony fretboard, which I find to be less fast if a wood than maple or rosewood.
However, don't let these deter you from picking one up. EMG pickups have been the metal standard for years (although I will probably swap them out for SD Black Winters), and with the right player and the right setup, this guitar will blow you away.Read full review

Got a good one
I was fortunate to get this Epi Les Paul Goldtop. Sounds good, plays easy, well made with good tone and sustain. Doubt they're all this good tho, so choose wisely and ask a lot of questions.

Great guitar for a learner
Wow, how great is Ebay. When I got an electric guitar it was a store brand junker. This one is much better. It sounds good, stays in tune, and looks good.

Oh me so happy....
Although this guitar was "hand crafted" in China, it has some good qualities. It came to me with a Seymour Duncan in the bridge and It's fingerboard is just a bit wider than my Epi LP. I may replace the other stock pup's with SD's as well. Not a big deal at this point.
It weighs about 9 pounds, plays well with nice low action and a good set up. This one, to me, is a Keeper. It does have a pretty long scratch on it, but like a truck, it adds character. I'm happy with it.Read full review

My impression of Epi Les Paul Florentine
Well made but the coil tap leaves a lot to be desired.. Hum bucks are ok but the single coil tone is weak
