Good all round plant feed

I tried Envi Seafeed Xtra to revitalise some mature herbs and my young M27 rootstocks. I saw that this fabulous product acted as a good addition to compost tea by enriching our plants feed. It certainly has given our Thyme, Oregano, garlic chives and rosemary a new lease of life. We now use it on our flower beds and raised beds. Great product - bottle fiddly to administer

I have used this product for about 3 weeks, and it seems v effective, in terms of how the plants have responded to its application. However, I have repeatedly found the bottle dispenser really difficult to use accurately. you have to turn the bottle on its side to allow the fertiliser to drain down the side dispensing tube (built into the bottle) and then tip it back upright again to check you've got the correct amount of fluid in the top of the bottle. It seems to take several attempts to get enough fluid into the top chamber of the bottle, before you add the contents of this, into your watering can.

To be honest, it's proving such a fiddle that I probably wont buy this product again, at least not in the bottle it came in. I should probably just decant it into another bottle, that's easier to use. But you shouldnt need to do that, if the design was right in the first place.

It's also quite expensive, at over £11 a bottle. I am sure I can find other liquid seaweed feeds that are just as good at a better price.Read full review

Useful, handy garden feed

I’ve used liquid seaweed extract before, it seems to suit plants. Not wild about single use plastic bottle, and it took a while to figure out how to refill the dosing capsule that is part of it (and from what I read online, some others too): rolling and tipping? No, just squeeze bottle gently (with lid off) and it refills. Duh! Arrived promptly.Read full review

I have had the chance use the seaweed feed on my containers this week. It is exactly as described in an easy to measure container.
