Strung up 2 guitars one with Elixir the other was a top brand non coated string set and still have noticed no oxidation and rusting with the Elixir strings compared to the others which started to deaden within a week. Tone quality lasts with elixer. I can't see myself ever going back to any other brand honestly should try if you haven't before.Read full review

These are good strings that last, even given the punishment I subject them to.
