Great product but not for very fussy eaters!

I'm pleased with the way it worked for one of my two cats, Rosie didn't think twice, after sniffing it she ate it straight away, phew! job done.......different story with my other cat Chloe, after sniffing it she wouldn't touch it, I tried and I tried but she wasn't having any of it. Gave some of the putty to my Granddaughter to hide her worming tablet, her cat ate it no problem. So 2 out of 3 pretty good. I do think the putty works for disguising tablets for cats but if your cat is a fussy eater like my Chloe may be a different story.Read full review

Disguise Pet Meds

I have a household of 4 cats plus a couple of ferals I feed. I used this putty to wrap their worming tablets in. Three of the cats plus the ferals ate theirs with no problems. However, one of them would not touch it for love nor tempting. Did get her to eat tablet after breaking it into little pieces and wrapping each tiny bit. All's well that ends well - until next time!Read full review

Makes giving tablets to cats a doddle

Great product. no more worries about giving your cat his/her tablets. Wrap the tablet up in it and they take it like a cat treat. It's so tasty that when I give one of my cats medication I have to give the other one a small bit as a treat. It's a shame that this product is not easily available in pet stores. Read full review

Stress Free

I cannot believe how easy and stress free this has made giving my elderly and very wise cat her tablets. You name it we had tried it, my cat was having none of this tablet lark. I could have jumped for joy and still do secretly smile every time he gulps down his tablet hidden in the what must be tasty treat.Read full review

Easy peasy cat putty

Oh I wish I'd found this stuff sooner. The ease of giving my boy his meds now, is beyond measure. Wrapped in a foil packet to keep it fresh, it moulds easily around tablets and the cat loves it. OK, so it's not a cheap product, works out at about £2.50 a packet, but worth every penny just for taking away the stress of medicating. Read full review

Great product. Wish I'd known about it sooner.

Works much better than anything else I have tried.
My cat requires 2 small tablets per day.I hide the tablets in a small ball of putty, and place the ball in a group of biscuits of similar size. Bob usually eats the lot in one go. I think at that rate, the 4 bars of putty will last about 6 months, so very good value for money.Read full review

One cat loves it, the other...no!

I've two cats..one took the pill with the putty easily, the other doesn't like soft food/treats anyway so didn't take to it. But the putty is very pliable, easy to mould to hide a pill and there's plenty in a packet, so for a cat who likes soft treats I'd definitely recommend it.Read full review

I was sceptical but it works

My cat was always a bit of a nightmare when it came to giving her tablets. Hiding tablets in food never worked, and she'd put up one hell of a fight if you tried to administer them directly into her mouth. This became a major problem when she got older and suddenly needed daily medication.

I was sceptical that Easypill would be any more successful than hiding tablets in food but for the sake of what it costs it was worth a try. I still can't believe how well it works. As long as I make sure that the whole of the tablet is completely covered by it, she wolfs it down. In fact she now actually gets excited when it comes to having her tablet because she just thinks she's getting a treat rather than being tricked into taking drugs. Whoever invented this, I owe you a debt of gratitude. Gone are the days where I had to don a bomb-disposal suit every time I needed to give my cat her medicine, and now rather than being left traumatised as I alligator wrestle her to the floor, she thinks I'm brilliant for giving her "treats".

I wished I'd known about this years ago......

My elderly cat needs to take a daily tablet. Instead of me getting scratched as I tried to man handle the tablet into his mouth, I now wrap up said tablet in the easypill putty and he scoffs it. Now; he has wised up, and sometimes I have to add a treat to the top to get him to wolf it down, but still, i have all my fingers, so win, win!!

The easy pill putty does have a tendency to dry up fairly quickly, so make sure that you put the wrapper back on it. I store mine in a zippy plastic bag too.

Lifesaver

Works a treat with a cat who previously fought like a tiger when you tried to give him a pill - even wrapped tightly in a towel with one person trying to keep a firm hold of him and one to prise his jaws open, he would still inflict deep scratches on everyone and then spit the pill out if you ever managed to get it in his mouth. Cannot believe how easy this stuff makes it - he just wolfs it down, pill and all! Only drawback is that it is quite expensive if you need to use it daily, as we do.Read full review
