This is a replacement for the ear-popper I have been using for the past 10 years. Works well for me. It unblocks my Eustachian Tubes better than any other method I have tried. It is not a permanent solution but increases and clarifies my hearing in the short term. I don't know the workings, but it does seem expensive for what it does.
