A robustly made excellent product.

I have only tried this once, but it is a robustly made product that does everything I could wish for on a mitre saw, smooth running, and more impressively, it cuts through metal !! If I caught a scew by mistake with my old chop saw, it was a trip to the shop for a new blade.Read full review

Its an evolution

Firstly I have a evolution 255 table saw so waiting for the time and right price to come along for the 255 mitre saw was a no brainer.each using the same saw blade is just brilliant if yr maker lets you do it,my old stuff was all different makes and all different size blades which is really annoying.now I can swap and change my blades between the two saws which saves a really big expense..the build quality is good and the pricing is great all with a few good ideas from evolution chucked in for good measure..i would highly recommend this saw and if you haven't already,get their 255mm extendable table was which is a great product toRead full review

It has turned my amateur DIY into a far better standard

It appears to be very well made, sturdy, robust and accurate. It cuts through wood like butter and makes cutting so easy and above all accurate. I struggle to make an accurate and straight hand saw cut,. Great value miter saw

I have just done some test cuts on some old kitchen pelmet. Both 90 and 45 degrees.
I did buy the specific wood/laminate blade for it.
I have to say I was impressed with the cut quality.
It needed setting up to get the angles right but this was quite straightforward.

Great budget mitre saw

This is a medium priced saw, with quite a few good features. I like the soft start especially, as it avoids the sharp snatching/kicks of similar saws. It appears well made, and cuts pretty accurately. It is a little heavier than expected, but that really is no problem. The only negative (so far) is that the saw will only mitre in one direction. My previous saw (Peugeot) swung over in both directions, left/right. Altogether though, I would recommend this saw.Read full review
