ESAB Sentinel A50 Welding Helmet - Black

Great welding helmet!!

I was worried when I read some reviews that aid this helmet was not dark enough for some users with more senstitive eyes. I spend a lot of time in the sun and have pretty sensitive eyes but in the darkest setting (which is 13) i found it to be a bit too dark. I had to dial it back to 11. Great helmet, comfortable, a little heavier than my old one but all the cool features are worth the weight sacrifice. Also the grind feature is awesome!!!

Great Welding Helmet!

I love this helmet. It contours to my head perfectly and is very comfortable, and the viewing area is awesome. It's easy to set the auto-darkening lens to the specs you want and save your settings. It darkens quickly and makes welding easy while viewing your the area your welding. In the past I've used Jackson, speed glas, and Miller welding helmets, and so far this is my personal favorite. Can't tell you how reliable this auto darkening lens is because I've only been using this particular helmet for a few weeks, but I love it so far. Makes my job that much easier. Read full review

What an awesome upgrade.

I have to admit I was pretty hesitant to drop that kind of cash on a welding hood, but I’m glad I did! The last one I bought was about 20 years ago and that is the same one I was using regularly up till now. I have been using my new ESAB for a couple weeks now and absolutely love everything about it! The adjustability of the headgear down to the awesome view of the job at hand. Fantastic helmet, worth every penny

Honestly, I questioned buying a $300 welding helmet, but I tell you, it will change your world. I just work in the garage with mine and it instantly improved my weld quality and it's so much more comfortable. The grind mode is awesome, and it's just super user friendly. ESAB knows what they are doing!!!

The only thing that could ever improve this helmet and its fly not neccissary, but one made out of the pipeliner material would really put this helmet ahead of the game. Not saying the material is menial ina any way this is a great helmet!!!Read full review
