High Quality Paint/Lacquer, good coverage, enough to paint full exhaust. Very heat tolerant
I bought 1 tin of silver paint and 1 tin of Lacquer to paint a manifold, heat shield, and exhaust system.
I just cleaned up the parts to remove loose rust and debris before spraying. If there's any grease on the parts, you need to remove it first. I applied the silver paint first. Went on easy. Just spray in short bursts and shake the can regularly. Allow 10minutes between applying coats. a warm room or sunny day outside allow the paint to dry quicker. Once the paint has dried sufficiently you can next apply the lacquer. This lacquer actually does give a good coat of lacquer. i was able to get at least 3 coats of lacquer from the tin for all the parts. Again apply the lacquer in short bursts, allowing 10-15mins between each coat.
Allow the parts to fully dry over night to get the best results.
Its quite resistant to runs and i only had a small run bearing in mind i was rushing the job so can't complain.
Note: You must use lacquer over the paint to seal it properly, else expect the parts to rust quickly if water gets on them.
I recommend this product. It costs a little bit extra but you get a product that actually works and does what it says it will do. It gives very good coverage too. they pack a lot of paint/lacquer into the tin and the entire quantity of paint/lacquer is expelled at the full pressure nice and evenly.Read full review

Brake callipers
I used this clear coat on my ap calipers that I had already painted. The problem I had was in places there was a reaction between the paint and lacquer, they were compatible but in a few places it bubbled up and wouldn’t cure so I’m having a second attempt Read full review

Amazing stuff
I sprayed my crankcase due to flaking chrome, to Matt high temp black, but obviously it will be a nightmare to keep clean as a Matt. Sprayed this over and got a satin which is now petrol and scratch resistant but easier to clean too.
My advice is give three coats of this over a high temp paint and your be pleasantly surprised by the quality.
Best I've used ... ever . !!Read full review

Painted a bare metal exhaust on my son’s motorcycle with 4 coats and it’s starting to rust. The exhaust was cleaned with panel wipe prior to painting and I followed the instructions on the can. Shame as it did look good Read full review

Excellent for headlights
I had a set of badly fogged headlights on a vauxhall corsa, i used the wet sanding method using 1000 grit then 2000 and 3000 grit wet and dry, after which i throughly dried the headlights , then i gave them two coats of this high temp laquer , and the finished lights look like new!!, time will tell if the finish lasts, but as this is a flexible laquer , im hoping it does last.Read full review

Good engine laquer
Wanted this for a 15 year old engine top cover, it sealed the alloy well and baked on nice and smooth after a trip out.
