The suction power is very good, it works great on the (dustiest) carpet.
It is very easy to remove debris and also long hair from the filter and the battery life is good.
There is no real need for the highest suction power mode, as it works well even with the average one.

Fantastic machine, mediocre battery
Excellent second vacuum. Would have given 5 stars, but poor battery life means you can only use it for a few minutes on full suction before recharging. Perfectly fine if only quickly hoovering something up but a pain if this is your only Hoover in a small flat. You get about 15 minutes on full suction, but that is very impressive performance from auch a little device. Cleaned my communal stairwell carpet really well after lots of neglect.Read full review

disappointing
Dyson Cordless Vac Cleaner
Firstly, I am a big fan of Dyson products . We have for many years bought their product and still own 2 upright vac cleaners. We thought this would be a good idea to try this refurb and give it a go.
What i like about it is its tiny. Its so compact and the tools it comes with are great. Being cordless means its so easy to use in the car, kitchen or where ever you require and its light weight.
However and its big one. The battery in it is pretty much useless. We charge for an hour and on MAX power for the vac lasts 30 secs.
On normal/ low power it lasts maybe 30 mins.
The whole reason we bought this is because we like Dyson's which are powerful.
This is unfortunately does not have the power required to clean an entire house or even anything other than a very small job.
Perhaps you could clean your car with it. For £150 I reckon thats an expensive way to clean it.Read full review

Brilliant - never vacuumed so much!
Love love love my new Dyson. So very easy and makes it a breeze to just quickly whiz round with. My floors are much cleaner than when I had to lug a heavy vacuum around - wires getting caught and carrying up the stairs!
I have a little issue with emptying it but I will work that out in time no doubt!

Worth the Dyson price tag
I had wanted one of these hoovers for a long time to use in between our main dyson cylinder hoover as we have 2 dogs and the floors downstairs need a quick going over daily, I was put off because I thought the charger had to be wall mounted and I didn’t have anywhere to put it, or want it on show.
After a chance conversation with my sister in law and I found out you could just plug the top part in to charge to a socket I started to research the different models. I chose this one as like I said it’s not the main hoover so didn’t need to be the top of the range one, I just needed it powerful enough to hoover tiled and wooden flooring in our front hall, kitchen and lounge/diner, which can be done in 5-10 minutes max, and it was also on offer with £50 off rrp, so I snapped it up.
I haven’t looked back, best purchase I’ve made for a long time, wish I’d got one ages ago!!
