An efficient vacuum cleaner

No doubt in common with all cordless vacuums this is easy to use, no cables dragging behind you tangling around the furniture, no more hunting for plugs in every room, it's just a case of grab and go, despite this it doesn't seem to lack power. I've never owned a cordless vacuum other than a Dyson, my original is still going strong after several years, this one was bought for an elderly friend. I can't answer the question is it reliable beyond saying she's used it 3 times since it arrived a couple of weeks ago and it's still going, based on my own experience I'd be surprised if she had any problems with it. Disappointed in Maryport

Well... I've had a Dyson since the beginning of time - I'm 100% Loyal, through good times ( Rich ) & Bad ( Poor ) and I've had Great Service from Dyson in terms of any issues or Parts replacement, expensive but, far more Superior than any other Brand. Recently I was Unfaithful with a Shark or 2, I parted company - there was an expensive settlement, but I couldn't wait to get back to my first Love my Dyson.... Unfortunately there's no Fairy tale ending with this particular model. He just doesn't have the Stamina to finish the Job! I need a Cordless due to my Carple Tunnel for my stairs & landing & on Boost he can barely make it & I'm talking 15 minutes max.As it is I can't afford a more Powerful Partner, so I'm going to have to put up with him until Death do us Part. I Don't Recommend this if you can afford a more expensive fling with the latest Model. Sorry Mr Dyson, I'm still your Biggest fan & saving to buy your Hair Dryer for my Granddaughter 😊Read full review

Cordless

There is nothing like a Dyson, I had a corded one for years which proved very effective & then regrettably migrated to a G-Tech-Upright cordless ( pass)
Nothing more than an expensive motorised carpet sweeper!
With bits that kept falling off ( wheels)

However,If you want quality & best performance, this is it!
The only negative aspect is that it needs to charge after use, running time is only about 30mins, but enough to clean the average house, Highly Recommended, There is nothing like a Dyson.Read full review

I like it.

It's light, powerful suction, cord free and does the job. Great for use with hard floors but also good on carpets. It's quieter than the V6 which we also have.

Addicted to hoovering!

Who would have thought that a light, easy to use gadget would be so much fun. Cuts the hassle of the wired models and encourages a quick zoom across floors and carpets. Much improved emptying set up so even that is not a chore. Picks up well and delighted with the quantity of dog hairs removed.
Slight niggle with docking mechanism to charge, haven’t quite worked out the best method of avoiding tangling with wire.

All round ideal

I had aV6 but it had done its lifes duty. Since the up to date Dyson are more than I wanted to spend I bought a shark and that is the right name. I had to buy another so I found the V7. I did not expect much advancement on the V6 but was sutprised.Whilst the charger had changed making it a task to install the new one the rest had changed to be much improved. Better to empty, extra boost, knukle fitting to allow easier access under furnature and good suction. Lightwieght easy to use and store. Great for someone with limited accomadation.Read full review

Easy and Lightweight
