Amazing hoover with unbelievable power. I hoovered with my previous Dyson about 1 hour before this arrived. Obviously I had to try it out, I couldn’t believe how much better this worked. It collected nearly a third of the cylinder and the carpets look great. I would recommend this to anyone, especially at this price.Read full review

Brilliant, works great. Refurbished but it may as well be brand new, no marks whatsoever, clean.

The only issue I have with Dyson uprights is the cable, it would be nice if it was retractable.<br>

Fabulous vacuum! Bargain price too.

I love this new dyson! Great suction, cable length, easy to use attachments and so much quieter than my old Dc07! Love that the brush part can even fit under the sofa or chairs instead of bumping into them. Downsides , 1. I have two dogs so lots of dog hair, when I empty it I always have to help it- no amount of shaking or tapping will budge it and no it's not over filled. 2. Would have given it 5/5 if it was easier to use on a wooden floor. Great on carpets, but very difficult to use on a hard floor . The large ball makes it remarkably unmanouverable. Perhaps it is a skill you have to develope but at the moment it is not easy and hard on the arms. On carpets, it is excellent and picks up so much more than our old Dyson. Delighted with this vacuum cleaner. Easy to use and simple to empty. Delighted that I bought the refurbished version at well under half the price of a new one. It looks like new, however there is only a 2yr guarantee rather than the 5yr guarantee of a new one.

Weighty and very powerful!

This is a very powerful cleaner. No bags to empty we're all used to these days, but this has no filters to clean, either - the smell that comes out is clean air.

The only slight downside is that it is a little weighty, but it runs along fine. The only thing I'd advise new users is to lean it to steer on the ball: just trying to twist it won't work well! The ball is designed to turn easily, but you will need to practise the steering.

Emptying is easy, too. If pinging the bottom open doesn't empty all your dust from the chamber, simply unclip the outside sleeve at the top of the chamber and slide it off the middle section. The dust will just fall out, as nothing will remain to hold it there.

I have a short-haired but shedding lab-collie and it picks up his hair nicely. Previously, even with a Dyson, we have had to roughen up the carpet bit by bit to get hair out. This gets carpets looking new again! :DRead full review

Excellent performance, human factors need improving

Excellent for picking up copious quantities of moulted dog hair (long). Performance all you would expect from a Dyson. However, obviously designed by a man and human factors engineering does not seem to be a Dyson strong point. Recessed buttons difficult for ladies with long finger nails. Vulnerable breakage points of design are the single small plastic hinge on the bin empty flap and the top handle supported by the extension pole for the vacuum hose and therefore liable to break if used to move or pick up the machine when the pole is removed for use (eg vacuuming stairs or high points). User guide by pictures is a classic case of "designed by engineers for other engineers". Also need to be careful when releasing the bin because the release button doubles as the emptying flap release button, so push a little too much and the bin empties all over your nicely cleaned floor.Read full review
