Its amazing what you put up with. We have had the Dyson for about 15 years, and have not replaced any parts. Fitting the new brush has put new life into the vacuum. Why this particular brushbar is twice as expensive as some of the others is a mystery. However it does the job and and the vacuum is easier to maneuver than it was.

Make sure you order the right bar

My dyson is a DC40 erp.
If you do not state erp you will be sent the wrong bar.
Why does Dyson make different length bars for the same cleaner and of course the erp is more expensive!!!
