Having spoken to Dyson I was told that the item required was out of stock so they could not give me a current price and suggested that I looked on line. The floor head was more expensive that I had anticipated but I urgently needed it. On arrival I checked it carefully with the original floor head and found it to be exact so I have no hesitation in saying that this is a genuine Dyson floor head.
