I was originally looking for a low cost rechargeable 'dust buster' type machine, but they have a terrible short battery life until it needs recharging. I then had a rare memory and recalled we had got my dad a Duronic VC6 A while back, and he is overjoyed with it, so I ordered one and now I'm overjoyed with it aswell, does exactly what I wanted it for, so glad I had that memory :-)Read full review

Powerful little Vac
This is a powerful little vacuum. Easy to put together and simple to empty out. It has a medium to long cable and is light enough to use with one hand. It is not too noisy but it isn't quiet either. It doesn't get 5 stars because it had a strong chemical/rubber smell that was very pungent when vac is switch on - it has only just started to fade after a few weeks but is still strong smelling. Also the side vents do blow out a very strong stream of air that blows anything like paper, dust or small items about within a few feet of where you are hoovering. May be this is more prevalent as I use the vac for my office desk and workshop bench and perhaps it would not be so much of a problem if you used it with the handle attachment? Great for a quick whip round at the end of the day
Compact and easy to store. Ideal for a quick whip around at the end of the day to pick up the bits when the kids have gone to bed. Struggles with larger bits of debris but then again it isn't meant to be a heavy duty cleaner. Would have been five stars but the clip that holds the additional nozzle on the handle is vey loose and easily knocked off and the position of the on/off switch means that it is easily knocked into the off position when vacuuming under tables etc.Read full review

Amazing little Hoover. Probably wouldn't be fantastic on carpets but perfect for hard floors and dog-hair-tumbleweeds!
