affordable, dependable, not the greatest - but it will do.
This is a actually decent generator which offers to fuel options at a low price.
I've been using this generator while fixing up a trailer in a remote area, and it has yet to let me down. Pushing more than 3 amps can cause it to trip the breaker, which will not immediately recover in all cases.
so far, I've only used it in gas mode as utilizing it with propane does cost a 10% degradation of capability, which barely places it over 3 amps
The battery start is quite nice, and it is built fairly rugged. When I had my power reconnected, the technician send out we're quite interested in the generator more than the project itself.
I've run over four hours at a time with absolutely no fuel delivery issues, although I certainly would not suggest running it completely dry.
Overall, it's great for small tool needs and marginal household requirements when the power goes out.Read full review

It is not a loud generator. I ran my 3 hp pancake air compressor on it with no problem.
DuroMax XP4850EH Hybrid Portable Dual Fuel Propane / Gas Camping RV Generator.
Generator rope cover was dented and could not pull rope. Got that fixed. Generator was locked up.
Not sure why. Pulled off rope cover and forced it to turn. Pushed the switch and started right up on
Propane. It's been running since.Read full review

good generator price was right
well I only ran it for a little bit hook up a heat gun and a drill ran with no problem...I live in florida and was stuck without power in 2017 from Irma storm I don't want to go though this again this little gen will do what I need it to run fig some lights and maybe a window unit ac big plus run on propane so if you cant get gas you have propane electric start you don't have to pull on cord...
when I put gas in it fire up on first pull...when switch it over to propane fire up with no problems...
I purchase a adaptor to hook to the propane line to hook to one pound bottle this way I don't have to drag a 20 pound bottle to fire this little gem up just to run once and a while.while waiting for the next storm for the price I paid was a great deal...Read full review

Better than great value on an excellent home or work generator.
Easy to assemble the limited items to assemble (wheel and handle kits) in 5 or 10 minutes at most. Hooked up battery, added oil (item includes a funnel with hose for this) and gasoline. Expected to have to pull the manual start as battery wasn't charged but it took only 3 revolutions of the engine (1 or 2 seconds) and it was running strong. Went right to work and I have to say, one of the best guys I have made in years. Am looking forward to using it with Propane, hose and regulator is also included!Read full review

Beautiful lots of compliments and i believe you are going to sell more of these. Very impressive
Perfect for me and what i need it for when the power company fails us. I like the idea i dont have to go out and buy this and that for it, other than gas and oil. Everything came with it, including hose for propane if you choose to go that route. I also want to say i'm glad i bought it when i did, saved myself $200. WOW
I put it together myself, very easy, didnt even look at the directions, pretty much self explanatory. I am 70 yr old woman. Read full review

Good value
It started right up on both gas and propane, after assembly. Oddly, the opening, assembly, and operating instructions were buried inside the unit rather than on top where it would be helpful. Tip: open the top, take out the wheel box, and tip the box and generator upside down onto the thick foam packing material. Then assemble the wheels to the frame and turn back upright. Remove the battery charging cable that's tucked in with the battery cable. You don't need it to run the generator. You then connect the battery cable (remove the plastic protective cap from the battery terminal), fill the oil reservoir, add gas, turn on the gas valve, set the choke to closed, start it up and then open the choke. For propane, turn off the gas valve, hook the included propane hose to a tank of propane, push the plunger on top of the round chamber, set the choke to open, and start it up. It will take a while for the gas to be cleared up and the engine to run smoothly on propane.Read full review

Great little unit.
I waited until I used this during a power outage before I rated it. We had an outage yesterday and it worked great. I have it wired directly into the house with a safety panel lockout. I had read a few reviews about it being loud while running but mine is very quite. They may have changed the design because it has a very large muffler and runs quite.
Starts easily runs smooth runs everything in the house except the big stuff. The wheel kit is perfectly placed so it is balanced while moving it around with little effort. I couldn't ask for anything more. The only negative is filling the gas tank. The tank has a fine mesh filter that makes it slow filling - I can live with that. For the price I would recommend this unit to anyone.Read full review

Quality and value
I live in a small town and power outages are common, our last one lasted 9 hours. I bought this generator for that reason. It runs the sump pump and refigerator with no problem. Set up was easy and everything is clearly marked. The manual was complete as was all the needed hardware and wrenches were included. The funnel was flimsy and cracked and I thought it should have been shipped with a bottle required 10w30 oil but no big thing. Absolutely satisfied with the quality and performance.Read full review

Dual fuel is the way to go!
Ease of operation is pretty straight forward. Set up takes a bit of time. Basic features. Not a bad thing. Less to break or wear out. Haven’t used it much. Got it set up and ready to go. Happy with it so far.Read full review

Excveeded expectations
Just unpacked and assembled unit. Not had a chance to use it yet. Very substantially built and designed. Particularly partial to the dual fuel feature and have hooked it up to propane.
