Depends what you pay for it.

I only paid $290 delivered for mine. I purchased an extended 3 year warranty for it as well for $19. It runs and works good, but I’ve only used it once. I was going to get 2 of them, but am glad I didn’t. It’s made in China. If I had paid retail, I wouldn’t have been as happy. Wait until it’s on sale. Mine didn’t come with a user manual, but I found the .pdf online. I’m going to use mine on my land where there isn’t power.Read full review

Better than I expected, especially for the price. The generator appears to be very well made, and complete with everything you'll need. little power house

Started up on the 2nd pull and ran smooth as butter. Pretty fuel efficient as well. About 9 to 10 hours on one tank. Had to run this generator for about 2 weeks straight as a devastating wind storm hit us here in north eastern Washington in mid November 2015. It's a little louder than i'd hoped, "About as loud as a lawn mover", but it ran like a champ, giving us the much needed juice for my fridge and freezer, and a few more electrical devises to weather this storm. Be careful not to over fill the gas tank as it will flood out the carb by sucking up gas in the vapor return line. This was a life saver for us and I HIGHLY RECOMEND getting 1 of these for just such an emergency!!!Read full review

Good Product - Read Me First

First off, this product is a good product for what it is and the price.

When pulling it out of the box I thought there was something wrong. The frame of the generator was covered in oil. I soon found out that the oil dip stick was not tight and leaked some oil. After I added some oil all was well. The culprit was just a lose dipstick when packaged.

I add removed the shipping brace, checked oil again, put 2 gallons of gas in the tank and started. It fired up 3 third pull, smoked slightly due shipping for a second and then ran at operating RPM. I let the generator run for about 5 hours at factory set RPM. After running I noticed there was a few engine mount bolts that was loose. I tightened them using the tools provided with the generator.

I hooked up a charger to charge my boat trolly and then ran a space heater for the next 5 hours. All went well. No surges in RPM or Voltage. I am confident that the generator can handle MUCH more without issue.

Assembly of the tires, stand and handles are a no brainer and simple. It took maybe 30 minutes to assemble and check everything over one last time.

Some key things I want to mention when you recieve this product.

Check the oil level. I mean it. Mine was loose and leaked.
Go over the product and make sure that all the bolts are tight. Check the engine mount bolts.Read full review
