Superb and sweeping

Superb little fim. Great characters and sweeping cinematography. Just sad about Tom Hardy's outcome. Not the DVDs fault. I blame Mr Hooper for that.

Complete rubbish.The editing is abysmal.How on earth did it win an award for this category?The action on the beach at Dunkirk is almost non existant and the film is a complete disaster.No script to speak of just a load of different scenes with bad acting and no storyline. Although in places the story is a little disjointed the film is saved by the graphic vistas that surprise and shock. Well worth seeing, if only for the superb camera work and direction. Wow, just WOW. Brilliant film, true events, chronology and timing of sequences is a bit mixed up, but once you've watched it a few times, which is a must, you'll get it.
It's a truly wonderful movie, the soundtrack is fabulous, it's very emotional and exciting, and I only wish I'd seen it at the cinema, almost did.
