Dremel EZ456B EZ-lock metal cut off wheels

Sometimes you have a little piece of metal that needs to be removed. The Dremel tool is a great go-to device for the job. In the past the cut off wheels just had a small hole in the middle and you put a screw through it and off you went. Usually, unless you were extremely careful, would blow out the hole and ruin the disc. The EZ lock system works very well and goes a long way toward fixing that problem. The discs are still delicate, but if you're careful, you can get the job done with the disc without failure. I go through a lot of these. Probably 100 a year. I cut all types of metal, steel, stainless, brass, etc... buzzes right through. I cut metal 1/4" and thinner. Yes, they wear down kinda fast, and yes, they are a little pricey, but, I have not found better rotary tool cutters.Read full review

The regular EZ-lock wheels are rugged and last a pretty long time. (DO NOT BUY the "thin" ones as they're flimsy and break away from the hub quickly.)
