Draper portable saw

After having Elu and Clark Bench saws over the last 20 years I tried this Draper bench saw.
It did not disappoint it cuts very well with a 10 inch blade when set up properly.
The guide on it is 1 of the best I have ever used 9/10 is the right score for this tool .
The only down side is like all this type of saw they are a bit on the noisy side.
Would I recommend this tool yes I would.

Returned the same saw 3 times

I purchase this table saw some weeks ago and it was faulty so i got a replacement and then after 3 weeks the motor had burnt out so I’m on my 3rd table saw, hopefully this one isn’t like the rest and lasts a reasonable length of time.
Draper them selves aren’t helpful too. Just spend a bit more money and get something decent like a Makita or axminster table saw or something.

Delicate but useful

This is definitely not a site saw, if you are sensible with what you ask it to do it will cope and out of the box it was cutting nice and square. The slide feature is what I purchased it for and that works reasonably precisely, not as good as a cast iron table but for aluminium price it's OK. The motor is about right for the blade size but no soft start which gives you an awful racket on start-up, The extraction works fine but you do lose the top hood and guard if you need to lower the knife for rebating, the worst feature on this saw is the fence adjuster, the locking lever is very hit and miss for micro adjustments, I will need to do some modification to get it right, but for the price there are always compromises, overall this table saw is a useful addition to the DIY workshop.Read full review

Easy to operate and accurate

I needed this table saw for various projects, and have found it to be well made.
Set-up is quick and simple and results are excellent.
straight edges smooth cut.
It did not come with a stand, but it is easy to knock one up out of those pieces of wood you have lying around from other projects.Read full review

Good quality and a great price

Not really had the chance to trial it out but it does everything it says on the box ,one thing I am thrilled about is the sliding table mechanism ,a very good idea for a table saw .Would definitely buy one again ,however I hope I never need to .Read full review
