Excellent bit of kit
My review is based on a price of just over £10 including 1st Class post. I am unconnected with Draper or the seller.
Essential extras required are : A butane refill as used for lighters etc. A supply of medium or fine diameter multi-core solder. A dust free box or bag for storage. Also useful would be a dampened heatproof sponge for cleaning the tip.
Pros: easy to hold device, which is little larger than a fat felt marker. Good basic instructions. Easy to operate. Ready to solder in little over a minute, if started on full heat. Although the stand operation is not obvious, it works perfectly. It is in fact the protective cap laid on it’s side and the red trigger of the unit slots into it. With a stated heat range of 200C-400C this iron is very good for a variety of medium duty wiring jobs. The heater is catalytic and has no fearsome flame. Mine is silent in use.
Cons : There is no spare tip and new ones can cost as much as the iron so shop around. The gas capacity is not very large and a delay of several minutes is required before igniting after a re-fill. The bubble wrap packaging is not designed for easy storage.
Comments: this iron is not suitable for soldering very tiny electronic components like IC chips or delicate components crowded into a small space. Nor is it suitable for very heavy soldering e.g. car battery cables. It appears to have a good build quality but nothing is proof against heavy handed operators.
Safety tips: Wear gloves when re-filling as the liquid gas will try to freeze your hands. Allow a good 5 minutes for the iron to cool in it’s stand after use. Then make sure the tip is cold enough to touch before replacing the protective cap. Do not leave unattended when children or pets are around.Read full review

good product except for the draw backs i mentioned when you do improve it send me a free one
first it should be built with a stand, secondly and last for 30 minutes it should have a conventional solder tip
i love the fact it has a electronic start

Great little tool
Great should have bought one years ago,
only fault gas only lasts around 5 mins when soldering, but that's just a bit inconvenient, only takes a second to refill

good product and well worth the money
the self ignition works spot on and it gets up to temperature quickly. only 1 downside is that its quite small but on the other hand its size makes it easy to to take with you if you need to.
