Best value 55" 4K HDR TV I could find

Great size, price, picture quality and features. It is also remarkably light and can be lifted easily by one person.

One great feature is being able to transmit to it directly from a Windows 10 computer (with wifi capabilities), so I no longer need my Chromecast dongle.

There are also 3 HDMI inputs whereas it is only advertised as 2. Another error with the listing description is the OperaTV (VEWD) app system. Mine didn't have this, but this was only a thought due to me being an App developer. It still has smart TV features, and an app store where all apps are free, although some movie apps will require a subscription. You can also browse the web if necessary.

There is a free Android app on the app store that turns your phone into a remote. This make typing things in MUCH easier than using the standard remote and scrolling each letter. Just type it on your phone as you would and it appears on the TV. I found this to be a great find, and this was not advertised anywhere.

If you are an audiophile you might want to use external speakers rather than the built in ones, as with all TVs. My personal setup is to use it in the living room connected to my laptop, and the audio goes from my computer to a bluetooth receiver that is plugged into a Sony amplifier and speakers. However, it is does have line out if you only used the Smart TV features.

I have this on a small TV table. On the wall, including the bracket it would stick out quite a lot. Not the slimmest TV out there; possibly 25cm+ from the wall. Still for something that is so much better than our TV that cost 3 times the amount I cannot complain whatsoever.

Something to note is that this is made by Vestel. What this means is that if something went wrong out of warranty, you could get a replacement power board or motherboard for £10-£30 so long as you don't smash the LCD then you could keep this running for absolutely years, even if something went wrong. Very good in my opinion.

I cannot recommend this TV enough. One of the best purchases ever. If you are looking for a HDR 4K TV that is larger than the average TV, then this 55" beauty could be for you, and you can keep it on for ages since it is one of the most energy efficient TVs on the market (A).Read full review

Superb value. Excellent picture once tweaked.

Needs a bit of tweaking out of the box but picture quality is excellent. I use it with a 4k fire stick - great response and picture. Built in Tuner is also good. Great inexpensive 4k TV. I bought mine at £279 which is exceptionally good value.Read full review

Lovely picture and sound but only had it for a day, downside is that it has not got a start socket....However it was easy to set up and if huge to our previous telly.
