I was looking for a PC card Adapter that would work in my 2009 Honda CRV together with a media card that I could store my music. This turned out to fantastic .... I simply transferred the music from my Laptop on to the SD Card, loaded into my drive slot on the car and pressed play ! If I were doing it again, I would probably opt for a smaller SD card - say 4Gb. I have over 800 songs stored so far and am only using 2.4Gb. I am led to believe that my player has a limit of 999 songs but haven;t verified that yet.

Great for older laptops

Excellent product that does what it is supposed to. Just a little more expensive than expected but it is a great product.

This items just worked first go and was ideal for the project I have. It saved having to use a SD to CF adaptor into a CF to PCMCIA adaptor minimizing the number of adaptor and converters required.

Slow

It’s a 16-bit pcmcia card so it’s limited to 1MB/s and takes days to transfer from larger cards, and won’t work on 64-bit windows.
