Aluminium tape
For a start it isn’t 3M tape, it’s the Diall brand used by B&Q. It is quite easy to manipulate and is quite thick, not bacofoil thin. The big drawback with the tape is that it’s prone to lifting once in place. Really could do with a more effective adhesive backing.

Get one with background ing paper and as thick as possible.
This foil is quite thin and does not have a backing paper threrfore it is dificult to use and also dificult to release from the roll, so therefore several metres were lost in carrying out thea task.r>Although reasonably priced I would definately recommend findind one with a paper backing1 and as thick as possible to avoid wazte and ease use. Great multi use product.
Amazing tape and i didnt even know that aluminium tape existed 2 weeks ago. I used it to make a depron foam elevator on an rc plane solid. Lots of uses for this type of tape and it is very well made.

Better than expected
Used this tape to cover joins in reflective bubble insulation on my shed ceiling. Worked a treat, very sticky and smooths out easily. Great value.
