Denon DM-40 sound system.

Bought this for my 70 year old father as a replacement for his old Kenwood, he didn't look too sure when he saw the size of it compared to his older hifi (the denon was 1/10th of the size of his old kenwood), however as soon as he heard his cds and the radio on it he was blown away, he couldn't believe how good the sound was from such a small device. He is more than happy with it. He finds it easy enough to use it so can't be too complicated, also linked his Audio-Technica record player up to it easily enough. Great quality for a micro system

Comparable quality to low-end separates. Very pleased with the packaged speakers as well - I believe that they are Mission components, bespoke for Denon, based on what I read online before purchase. Certainly very capable small speakers. Supplied speaker cable was fairly short, but that is my only (very minor) quibble.Read full review

ONLY FOR IPHONES

Purchased by mistake M40. It dosent have Bluetooth for streaming, and you can only use iPhones for usb input. Not Android. The M41 is the model I've now purchased which has Bluetooth.
