Denon DVD-2500BT Blu-ray Player

Military grade dvd

This item,which I bought for about a third of its retail price (in 2008),is an excellent machine. With Bluray and Dvd, as well as home-recordings on disc it is excellent in picture and 5 channel sound is stunning. My only regrets are that it is not a universal disc player so my small number of SACDs won't play but I have another player for them. It also does not open lossless files like flac, which I,m beginning to use more. The most serious fault (if I can call it that) is that it is not Multi-region (my fault for not checking) and that Denon UK's system for upgrade seems impossible to use. So I have this big beast, very weighty and solid, but I also have to maintain another player.Read full review
