Emergency filler that is easy to use.

Very good for an emergency. Easy to use. Knew I would lose a filling during lockdown, but was unprepared. My dentist recommended this and most places having fold out, I was lucky to find this. I did pay well over the odds for it, but if it does the trick and stops pain and blocks up the hoLe, then it is worth it.Read full review...

good for a very short term fix. not durable

This is not quite what it says on the tin. it does a temporary repair really well and its easy to smooth off to make a comfortable surface. The surface hardens in a few minutes and the repair hardens after a few hours. However it doesn't last long. As soon as you chew something slightly abrasive it wears away eg nuts bread crust muesli. mine lasted about 24 hours before needing replacing. this gets you through to see a dentist most times but not currently when all the dentists are closed. My tooth is broken on the side so the repair is more exposed than a filling but all the repair has usually gone from cavities after 48hrs so i expect the same would apply to normal filling holes.Read full review...

Authentic Product!

Product is designed well and fit for purpose. Filling that fell out was deep and very tricky. The filling does need to be reapplies and real is just a semi-perm solution, but we also tried the Toothy Peg brand and this is miles better. Also quite a lot of product left. So although you need to reapply you have a enough for a number of applications. Thank you.Read full review...

Does its job

It does its job as a very temporary measure - it should last a few days if one does not bite directly on the material. One can always reapply it when it crumbles away. I am not sure that the contents (2.64 grams) would suffice for "13+" fillings as I find one inevitably wastes quite a bit as one fills the tooth. I did not find the included applicator helpful, and used my finger. Zinc Phosphate is the ingredient and it used for temporary fillings, so there are competing brands. I chose this brand simply because the prices was a bit lower. Much larger quantities of Zinc Phosphate can be bought quite cheaply, but it was not for sale in any stores in my area.Read full review...

Extremely useful whilst Dentists are unable to practise.

Needed for a filling coming out and dentists not able to repair during the Covid 19 shut down. Worked well - lasted less thn 24h fir the first application. Second application lasted nerly a week. Both the "dentist" (me) and the patient (my wife) did things better - application was better and avoiding it when eating was better. Now in the middle of the third appliction. All this is bearing in mind that it is only intended to be used as a quick fix before visiting the real dentist. Thus it has done better than expected. We will be ordering another pack.Read full review...

Good be very effective, under certain circumstances.

I had a molar that broke, just on one corner, and pulled away some of the filling, in that tooth. It wasn’t too serious, nor was it painful. But it left a sharp, jagged surface causing the side of my tongue to become very sore. The repair kit was easy to apply, but I found the surface had a slight “ chalky” feel to it, and not very soothing when my tongue rubbed against it. So I removed it, after 4 hours , and stuck a small piece of chewing gum over the tooth instead. It worked a treat and was much more comfortable. I think it you had serious damage to a tooth, or lost a lot of filling, resulting in pain, then I’m sure the dental kit would be a very good solution.Read full review...

Great little life saver!

So a week or so after lockdown my crown inlay came out. Called the dentist, they told me to find some temporary dental cement to keep in place until I could be seen etc. So you get a tiny little pot, with a tiny little bit of putty inside. But you dont need a lot at all, and you don't need to worry about keeping it dry, just make sure you clean the area well and roll just enough to keep the crown sitting securely in place. I literally used less than half a pea sized amount, maybe less! I did mine at bed time so I knew I wouldn't ruin by eating or drinking for ages, and honestly it's stayed in perfectly. The tooth/nerve was starting to niggle, so by the time it arrived I was ready to get it sorted - now no niggling nerve at all, and I can eat without any problems. Worth every penny so far!!!Read full review...

Not so easy to self help.

I found that it was very difficult to use by yourself and an able assistant may well help. The filling did stay in for about 24 hrs but then disintergrated and came out in bits. However, I did try again with a little more success and it is serving its purpose by acting as protection for the time being.Read full review...

easy to use and does the job well.

So long as you remember this is a temporary stop gap till you can get to the dentist, great, make sure you have your own clove oil or alternative before you apply, mine normally last up to 6 weeks, which would normally be enough, however, COVID is the issue, this is my 2nd lot, and usually have 1 spare just in case.Read full review...

Works well as a temporary fix if applied correctly

A sound temporary fix if you can’t get to a dentist straight away. You will have to ensure that the tooth and surrounding area is completely dry, use a piece of cloth in between the gum and tooth to control moisture, then take a piece of mould and rub it for 20 seconds or so to warm it, then apply to to the tooth and contour with the tool provided. Keep your mouth open and dry for 10 minutes, then you’re good to go. It lasts for around 2 to 3 weeks before wearing away.Read full review...
