Dell KB522 Wired Business Multimedia Keyboard - Black

Overall a great keyboard; only the stubby feet let it down

This is a membrane keyboard but the key action is very good; pretty quiet and pleasantly responsive. It has two USB pass-thru ports; no good for charging but fine for hooking up a wired mouse and things of that nature.

Even though it has a full extended UK layout - including special keys for common functions such as calculator, mute and a rotating volume control - it has a surprisingly modest desktop footprint which I certainly appreciate.

Equally modest are the keyboard's feet; they provide a good firm platform during use but barely change the angle from flat. That's about my only criticism - I wish the keyboard sat at a greater incline with the feet deployed, but that's a small gripe for what is otherwise a very good piece of kit.Read full review

Good but too low

Nice keyboard action, easy to type. There is one issue, the rear feet are too small and do not raise the keyboard to a good height for typing - my opinion. I have added extra height to the rear of my keyboard and now find it perfect.Read full review

Great keyboard if only the back height could be adjusted more

Everything about this replacement DELL keyboard is fine except for the lack of angle on a desk. It lies very flat and even when the 'legs' at the back are engaged it is still far flatter than any other keyboard I've been used to. May add 'wedges' to bring the angle nearer what I need. Other than that it has all the quality of a 'standard' keyboard, e.g. the keys depress a decent amount when touched so you know when they have been engaged - much more difficult to get a feel for this on many k/bs. Build quality is very good and overall barring the angle issue it is great value for money but for me not being able to raise the back another 1 or 2 cms makes a big difference.Read full review
