Bean to cup coffee machine

Makes great coffee and very easy to use. I was a little worried that it wouldn’t heat the milk up to a high temperature, but no problems there as you can heat it up to have a piping hot coffee if you want to. My only issue is every time you switch it in or off, it does a self clean and hot water is dispensed each time. I now just leave our milk jug under the tap, otherwise you are continually emptying the drip tray. Also this means it’s using the water from the machine so you are forever having to top the water up. Apart from that it makes fantastic coffee, and you can easily taylor the strength of the coffee to suit you. It makes Lungo, Cappuccino and Latte with ease.Read full review

Makes excellent coffee from beans very quickly.

Having owned and used a De'Longhi ECAM Bean to Cup Coffee Machine for the last 8 years, I am very comfortable to have this as a replacement. It does everything the last machine did, plus easier controls. It makes good coffee to personal taste, very quickly for up to three or four people. When making for more people it is quicker to use another means, such as filter machine or cafetière. Using ground coffee is slower because it will only make a small quantity at a time.Read full review

Firstly the seller, this item was shown as refurbished but was actually brand new item that had simply been refused delivery by a previous purchaser so great value. The best one from this range. A little disappointed that the sides and back were in white rather than silver as per my original but doesn't detract from the way it functions. An excellent coffee machine that makes outstanding coffee.

I have had this product for 2 weeks and the coffee it makes is the same as any well known or boutique coffee shop I have been to, but without the extortionate prices some of these places charge!
r>Once you have read the instructions carefully and there seems to be quite a few pages on the subject, the process of making coffee is very simple and easy. The first thing I noticed about the coffee making process, is the delightful smell in the kitchen from the brewing process, something missing from my previous coffee making device. When I make an espresso coffee (which is what this machine is primarily made for) I absolutely love the 'crema' that is made from each serving. I find the coffee is so smooth, that my usual sugar helping in black coffee is not required in the espresso made by this machine. I haven't created my own custom grind or brew yet, so when I do, I can only imagine how amazing my coffee will be in the morning!

It is great that it comes with a filter and water softener, this helps with the end result dramatically. It comes with litmus paper so you can measure how hard your water is a source. As I filter my water, I halve the hardness of the water, even before I add it to the machine, this helps considerably to the overall life of the parts in the machine, even though it will ask you for a descale after several months of use, and you get a descaler in the box.

As for the frothing wand, very easy to use, and makes the perfect cappuccino every time. I have used rice milk and oat milk and they froth up just the same as regular milk (yuk!)

I use the bean to cup setting on the machine, it does have a slot for pre-ground coffee, and it is relatively quiet considering the job it has to do.

I have been looking for probably a year for a machine, each time concluding that I need a machine costing £2000+, so naturally I gave up. So when I saw this machine at half price, I make the plunge and was very glad that I did.Read full review

Great espresso machine.
I drink 3 espressos a day, I was churning away pods, at an incredible pace. To be honest I wasn't that satisfied with the coffee quality either.
Decide to be a bit more eco friendly and bough this bean to cup machine.

My coffee maker

I'm overjoyed with this machine. It makes coffee perfectly, 5 different strengths, two cup at once option and cleans itself between switch ons too. Nice, easy and simple.
