its a bit noisy as the plastic lid vibrates on the water tank, they could of sorted this with a small rubber under the lid which amazes me why they didnt??? drips a bit from the steamer BUT it makes great coffee and as i never paid new price for it i can live with the noise and drip :)Read full review

Not a great machine - fails in 3 key areas

The machine is easy to use but that is about it. The instructions say to turn on 15 minutes before you need to make coffee for the best results. The best results for me are to get a coffee as soon as possible after I wake up; so on that front this machine fails. Secondly, when the green light comes on telling you the water is to temperature for the coffee, you have only around 15 seconds before the light goes out: ie: the water is now too cool to make the ideal espresso. With a fine ground coffee in the double-shot coffee holder, it takes 10 seconds to even start expressing water into the cup. So, insufficient power power and an inadequate heating element are definite issue with this machine. Fails again. 3 key failure points.Read full review

For the price, this is a cracking coffee maker.
Some may feel it's a little noisy when brewing but that's part of the "ballet" of making a proper brew.
