Chef's delight!
Love these products, 2nd set we've owned. They look good, & are very functional.

Looks lovely; questionable quality
The product itself looks very stylish but as soon as I plugged it in the first time it popped my breakers. I noticed that one of the elements was LOOSE and rattling about inside, not having been assembled properly. At this point multiple factors came into play. I needed a toaster right away, I realised that a swap would take time, I am well equipped and experienced at repairing such appliances, and I had already (I hoped) identified the fault. I decided to cast aside the warranty as the manufacturer had cast aside the quality control. Upon disassembly I was proved correct; a simple assembly fault was the problem; tab (a) into slot (b) literally. Reassembled correctly the appliance works perfectly. To sum up:
1. This was not cheap.
2. There is a gap around the chrome top and black surround that fills with crumbs and shows like mad, AND is a nightmare to keep clean. Thanks for that....
3. I will not buy another no matter how well this one performs (quite well) due to the evident lack of quality control.
Upshot? Would you want to risk buying another knowing this? Up to you and I hope you have better luck than I.Read full review

Delonghi Black Toaster
The cable is too short as most of my electric plugs are high on the walls due to regulations. I had to buy a work table stand for it to stand on which I think is wrong. The cable is approx 4” too short

EVENLY TOASTED SLICE of BREAD
We looked for ages for a toaster that would actually toast both sides of a normal or average slice of bread evenly without turning at the halfway point and therefore ending up with a burnt center strip. We are now a very pleased toast loving couple and there is a bonus too, bagels, waffles, crumpets (yuk) and it also has a defrost setting, another advantage it has is being a 4 slice toaster Kaz and I have a side each, as she prefers her toast a lighter shade than myself.
It also matches our delonghi kettle though I personally don't understand why that is important.
