Great for the price.

I started using weights in my workout a couple of months ago and have gradually built up to be able to comfortably use 5kg. Being a woman I’ve always been a bit skeptical about using heavier weights but 5kg was getting too easy on some moves. I thought about buying a heavier set when I saw this. I thought the quality wouldn’t be brilliant because of how cheap it was. I paid £20 just for a set of 5kg! It’s easy to put together and great for adjusting. I like to have my 5kg laid out and out 8kg on each bar from this set as it would be difficult to constantly adjust the weight during the workout. The only thing I don’t like is how big they are, I’m used to smaller dumbbells but these are quite big so you have to think about how to hold them without them banging into each other or your legs during squats! Overall 100% happy with the quality of the item, definitely recommend this for anyone in my position where constantly buying new sets of dumbbells gets pricey! havent used it as a barbell yet as it only arrived the other day. Mediocre

You're better off spending more for a quality product.

To get the full 30kg in barbell form you need discs in the middle of the bar as well as either end of the bar. The centre discs just rub on your wrist while working out so you can only load these up with 18kg if you want to be comfortable.

The bar is 10mm steel coated with a plastic thread and the threads unscrew far too easily.

You cannot get a 30kg dumbell, just a single 18kg one or 2 lighter ones.Read full review

Really good value for what you get. I bought these for around £30. The weights are easy to change around. The only caveat I've found is that sometimes, the spinlocks become looser while doing exercise, but I've yet to figure out why.Read full review

Dumbells

Quality is okay but my bar joiner got stuck and i cant takw it off. It is ripping the flesh off my hand when I try and i dont know how to fix the problem. The bar joiner was in bad quality at first though. It was already scratched up, inside looked ripped and there were cuts into it. Also the handles are terrible they hurt so bad. 30kg dumbell review

I like these dumbells. The quality is ok. But all care really is to lift something heavy. And the fact that its adjustable is rather nice. Between sets if I want to change to barbell i can use my rest time to change from dumbells to barbell. When im doing squats with the barbell I have to put a towel on my neck because it gets uncomfortable. Thats the diwnside to it really. Although they are really great.Read full review
