Medium duty music stand
i would not call this heavy duty but would call it medium duty. Having said that it is sufficiently robust to withstand most use.
It is easy to assemble, pack and unpack, quick to adjust and tweak to various positions.
The supplied light is pretty impressive and very useful.
A very valid and useful bit of kit.
Downsides. Many of the fasteners and adjusters are not made for long service, It is not really suited for use at maximum extension as would easily break if knocked over. It is not really well enough made for daily use over many years.
Conclusion. For the money it cost it represents good value, For a beginner or someone with a big instrument to carry this is idealRead full review

Does the job but not great quality
If you need a collapsible music stand this does the job, but be prepared to need to make some adjustments to it to make it totally workable. After storing it in the bag for the first time, when I came to take it out and have a closer look it had already started to break through the very thin material of the bag. Partly because the bag material is very poorly thin but mainly because in the folded position the meeting corners of the base are unprotected and sharp. You will need, as I did to file the corners to a round, smooth shape, or else it will cut the bag and most likely your fingers too.
Also, the simple mechanism to lock the folding halves of the base into one flat area is the 'wrong way round. A long plastic strip tucks behind a shorter piece to lock the base in place. However, fitted as it is, should the long piece work lose, under gravity it will unlock. Better fitted the other way around gravity would lead to the piece remaining in the locked position. Just a poor design.Read full review

OK with limitations
I bought this music stand for occasional use outside. It needed to be sturdy and with a folding sheet plate to make carrying it easier. It does do all that, more or less.
It is made from painted mild steel tube and sheet with some cheap plastic fittings, all held together with aluminium rivets - far from ideal. The clamps are poor and quite difficult to use. I do wonder how long they might last. The sheet plate holder is rudimentary. I am not convinced that the hinges are 18/8 stainless as they seem to be strongly ferro-magnetic. (18/8 SS should not be attracted to a magnet). In my opinion, it is poorly constructed and finished. I was disappointed with the carry bag, It is not as it appears in the picture.
I would definitely not recommend it to anyone wanting a high quality music stand and especially not for frequent or heavy use. It is certainly not appropriate as an orchestral stand.
I did say it is good value but that is in comparison with others I found, which seem to be weak, very expensive or both. On an absolute scale I would say it is not good value.Read full review

Perfect for purpose - music stand.
Absolutely fits the bill for us. We are a 30 piece concert band. Needed a transportable, lightweight, well presented music stand for our concerts. Having trialled a few different brands and styles, this one was the best and came at a reasonable price. Very pleased. Read full review

Really robust, quality, music stand that comes in a handy carrying bag - love it!🤩
This is a terrific music stand imo, really robust, not frustratingly flimsy or spindly like some that will only take one piece of music at a time - this stand is quite capable of holding my full music folder without wobbling. The product description shows how versatile it is and does not exaggerate (as you can often find). Also, I love that it folds up and comes in a carrying bag, as music stands can be awkward to transport and store, and this one really isn't.
It's comparatively expensive but you get what you pay for, and I'm really pleased with it and confident of getting years of use out of it.Read full review

Nearly 5 star.
Nearly 5 star. The fitting of the holder onto the stand is a bit tricky and the screw that tightens it could be easily lost (needs a tag to hold it onto the stand). The bag is a tight fit. But definitely useful and portable.Read full review

All good - Maybe with the exception of the lights (would have been nice to know I needed to buy rechargeable batteries for it), but that was a bonus in my eyes, very happy with the stand itself

Great for karaoke nights
Bought it so that I can place my tablet on it for when the wife sings karaoke, only slight issue is that the actual bottom part of the stand which holds the tablet is a little narrow but it's not too much of an issue as you can alter the angle.
I recommend.Read full review

Great music stand.
Sturdy, and large enough to take large music sheets. The light is a great touch. Arrived sooner than stated, which was perfect.

Pity about the bag.
Light but sturdy and the folding desk makes it easier to carry around. The stand would get 5 stars but the bag lets it down as it is too small, making fitting difficult.
