The Go-To Drone for most...
If you're in the market for a drone and want something small and portable then this is your best bet. Since the DP3, DJI has improved a lot in the software, connectivity and compatibility departments. The remote fits any smartphone easily and comes with standard cables (MicroUSB, USB C and Lightning etc.), and is small form factor as well. The app recognizes the aircraft easily and I haven't had any connection loss issues, so far. Everything is made as compact as possible so that it's easy to carry. It means you'll have to learn how to (un)fold things each time, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes very easy.
The quick shots are the best feature of the DJI Mavic Air and I would recommend this if they were the only thing that you get in the package.Read full review

Best Drone for the money!
The Mavic Air combines all of the quality and features of a DJI drone into a small form factor with great performance. It has a 3 axis gimbal with a 4K camera as well as high data thorough-put of 100MBPS. It comes with 8 GB internal memory, a free app that lets you update firmware wirelessly. It might not have the flight time of the Mavic Pro or Pro 2 but for the half the price you can’t go wrong. I love this drone!Read full review

Great Value, Great Drone
Excellent model to begin flying drones with. Easy setup especially with the aid of Youtube videos available. The price was very reasonable as it has been replaced by a newer model (Mavic Air 2) but has enough features to make a new model a better value with a savings of about $500/600.00 which is huge. You know you want it. Just go for it.
I was debating whether to get the basic kit or the Fly More combo... and I am so happy I got the combo! 20 minutes in the air -one battery worth- goes by flying! (no pun intended) and I love to bring the little drone down and give him some extra juice immediately. The bag it comes with is awesome and can fit absolutely everything (and some extra stuff).
About the drone itself, I'm pretty sure you have already done your research... so I won't waste your time. It's a fantastic drone and even with the limited amount of videos I have caught in my first week of ownership it managed to already blow my mind. Get. It. You won't regret it.Read full review

DJI Mavic Air or what other choice
So much is packed into a flying camera, it's really astonishing. With the technology available and known by DJI this company should not put out a product that is using 2.4gh or 5.2gh at this price point. Even the older technology in the Inspire 1 might have been better. Nevertheless I chose to make this purchase for many of the other benefits it provides. A question asked about it being a good value, I stated yes. That's not entirely true but compared to the price point of other DJI models then it would seem to be a good value.Read full review

Great little drone I have a spark from DJI another awesome drone the mavic air is the step-up I was looking for for the price you can't beat it the only problem when I went to get care refresh serial number did not exist so I got other insurance DJI I want you to send a video on how well the Drone works and so on you can get great insurance for the Drone cheaper and is just as good as that care refresh other than that I have no issues with the Drone flies beautiful works fine video is awesome as well as the photographsRead full review

The Mavic Air is great but DJI needs to step up to the plate and provide the needed documentation for NEW items like the Mavic Air to interface with their other products and in particular the DJI Goggles. Documentation for both products fail to mention the other and getting them setup is a frustrating hit and miss situation for those of us that just want to fly.Read full review
