Quite disappointing.

The edges are quite hard and sharp which makes it uncomfortable if you catch your toes on it. The gel moves around as there are no internal buffers which means that you get empty patches. I was also disappointed by how quickly the mat warmed up on hot days. That wasn't the point of the purchase! Warm gel against your feet is horrible.

A real cool mat

Fantastic product, goes cool to touch with in a few seconds and stays that way, my little Westie was reluctant too start with, but by the end of the first day she loves it, She gets on it whenever she needs cooling and at night sleeps on it, I used to keep a fan blowing all night to keep her cool, I haven't used the fan since getting the cooling mat, no need

My rabbits love it!

Arrived on time, great size looks exactly like the photo. I put mine in a pillow case and then into the freezer for half hour so it’s extra cold. The rabbits love to lay on it and it’s been such a huge help in keeping them cooler throughout the day. It’s big enough for them to both lay on at the same time. I use this as well as placing frozen water bottles in their pen for them to lay against. I recommend using the frozen water bottle technique alongside using this mat for any pet such as rabbits cats and dogs. My dog George loves it when he gets over heated he lays on the mat and it does cool him down I also put my feet on it to cool me down in hot weather.
