Well engineered scroll saw

I’m new to scrolling but this saw has my interest. My past experience with scroll saws was disappointing because of high vibration and ineffective saw function. This saw is smooth and the layout of the tools frequently used parts is perfect. Speed control, blade tensioning, power switch, and blade changing is all right at the front of the saw. Outstanding quality, easy to use

The saw is perfect. It cuts smoothly, the speeds and tension settings are spot on. I did add a light to the top. It would be nice if they would add one in the future. The two blades that come with it will not last long. I put some Olson blades on it and it made a great difference. But yes I would buy again easily. I’m very happy!Read full review

The best scroll saw I have ever owned (and I have had four previous).

Powerful, quiet, and sturdy. I have owned three of the 18" cheapo verities and finally bit the bullet and spent the extra money on this guy. I am happy I did. The only other scroll saw that I was happy with was my Dremel 1680. That was a workhorse and I used and abused it for over 7 years of hard use. Probably the best value for money out there. I like that it is sturdy enough to manage thick wood. It uses pin-less blades, which for me is a requirement for fretwork. Very nice sized table with enough area for wide work. Very nice machine for those of us who are not necessarily hobbiysts but have small sized shops. Overall great saw.

This is an excellent saw, but has two faults. The hold down shoe is misplaced, in the way, and not very stable. The slowest speed is too fast for very delicate fret work using .10 blades. Both of these were better on my old Excaliber saw. That said, it is a very well made precision tool with a great blade tensioner. It has the basic design of the Excalibur.Read full review

Awesome saw that I am very pleased with

This is a big step from the older parallel arm scroll saws I was used to. Smooth operating, variable speed, and sweet adjustment of the table are all great advantages. In addition, the arm raises. That's more helpful than I had thought it would be. The design is great; the execution is great. I recognize that the bearings will need to be updated or lubricated in the first year, which is a big change from the earlier Canadian-made product. That's okay, and there are lots of how-to videos. I love this saw and am glad I got it. I expect it to be the last scroll saw I'll ever need to buy... a lifetime purchase.Read full review
