Best overall cordless screwdriver

This is one of the few compact cordless screwdrivers with variable speed. Once you get the hang of the gyroscopic action, which doesn't take long, it is great. It is not designed to drive 3 inch deck screws. For that I used my Dewalt 20v impact driver. I use the dcf680 around the house, and for building rc cars. I have a few cordless screwdrivers but I like using this one the most because of the gyro, variable speed, compactness and the great led lights.Read full review

A seemingly flawless design and execution. The ergonomics are spot on, in both grip modes. Everyone talks about the super awesome gyroscope controls but my favorite feature is the clutch. I’m very impressed with the dial clutch. The DCF680 is quite powerful for a screwdriver so the clutch almost seems necessary for light duty projects. Haven't put it to a real test yet but I don't think you can go wrong with a DeWalt product. The Gyroscope option is real cool as you control speed and direction with your hand.
