Not a DeWalt quality battery

I have not used this battery yet so I don’t know how long the charge will last. It does not fit the DeWalt charger very well. I had to jiggle it to make it connect to the charger contacts. It also does not fit my DeWalt drill/driver very well. Very hard to remove it once it is installed on the drill/driver.

False Advertising-should be removed from Ebay

I was fully aware that these batteries were not actually DeWalt batteries and that the advertisement was deceptive but I thought they were worth a try so I purchased 2 - 8.0 Ah batteries. The fully charged 8.0 Ah battery runs my DeWalt leaf blower continuously for 6 minutes and an ACTUAL DeWalt 4.0 Ah battery ran the same leaf blower for 9 minutes 20 seconds. It is my understanding that an 8.0 Ah battery should actually run more than twice as long as a 4.0 Ah battery NOT LESS. So the 8.0 Ah battery weighs 1 pound 3.7 ounces and the ACTUAL DeWalt 4.0 Ah battery weighs 1 pound 5.6 ounces. I am no expert but I would think an actual 8.0 Ah battery should weigh more than a 4.0 Ah battery not less and run much longer. It is my belief that these batteries are not labeled correctly and are complete false advertising. These batteries also do not fit very smoothly into DeWalt tools like an actual DeWalt battery does… probably won’t bother returning them at this point but BUYER BEWARE, you get what you pay for these batteries.Read full review

Batteries are great, after you charge, use and charge a 2nd time.

The batteries had me concerned as when I received them they only showed partial charge on the "fuel gauge" even after charging completely. However, after using it almost to empty and then recharging it now reads a full charge.

These 4AH batteries last much longer than my old 1.5AH batteries and the weight difference is minimal. The size difference is moderate, especially when needing to get into tight spaces however, keeping my smaller batteries just for those circumstances suites our needs.

Best battery that I have found.
I have bought quite a few dewalt type batteries for 20v hand tools, and these are one of the best batteries that you can buy. Quality throughout, not skimpy or substandard in any way.
