DeWalt DCB183 XR 18V 2.0Ah Li-Ion Slide Battery 18V - A Great Little Battery
Great quality as always from DeWalt. For a small battery they have a long-life span, hold a charge for a long, long time, lightweight and rugged, fast charge and full power output for whole two hours. LED Fuel Gauge also is useful, now on the smaller batteries as well as the bigger ones. Cant think of a down side at all. So hence 5 Star Rating. Read full review

Very good for the price.
Admittedly they're not the cheapest, but they are very good batteries. Came well packaged. No rattle in the box. They dont come fully charge like your expect being dewalt batteries. They take around 30mins to charge which compared to the 75 minutes 4ah takes it's great. Although it took a day for them to respond to the sale they did turn up the next day. Dewalt 18v battery 2.0 ah
What to say, just "You get what you pay for". Slightly more expensive than other brands, but last long time, great performance and effectiveness. Example: Last about 50% longer than competitor drill with same battery capacity.
I have about dozen Dewalt batteries, 12v and 54 v, some about 2 year old, still performing great and no failure.

As a battery it is fine but as de Walt no longer make batteries to fit my older but still perfectly good machine - better built than the new stuff - it required the purchase of a shonky adapter to fit which made for an expensive proposition all in and a somewhat Heath Robinson affair.
