Great easy to use ...

I have been using of these can openers for a while at a relative's, and found it easy to use. Reliable and opens all manner of common cans that other openers refuse to open. This includes Corned Beef cans and Tinned Pies. The opener retains the lid until released with the two side levers.Read full review

Quality has deteriorated

My Mum has a Culinare Magican Auto can opener and it is of good quality. Unfortunately this latest incarnation is of poorer quality in my view. For example it doesn't clip on the rim of the can so easily. Opening the can is less easy and the arm on the right doesn't move out as easily. It has a poorer quality feel to me to it. It is Made in China, I am not sure whether the original ones were or if this makes a difference.

What a let down

I normally buy my can openers from supermarket for less than half the price of this.
I get fed up of buying a new one every few months when they stop working.

So thought I would buy this opener thinking it would last me at least a year... NOPE I'm yet to find a can it can open without constantly having to reposition the opener time and time again.
