A compact well designed full featured food processor.

Cuisinart has different model food processors, but the Cuisinart Custom 14 Cup is in my opinion their best and competitive with professional models of other companies at less than half the price. It come with 3 different blades that do most chores well. I believe specialty blades are available. The unit is well made, compact and has a powerful motor. It made French cut green beans and sliced carrots perfectly. Cleanup was easy. Cusinart 14 Cup Food Processor Bigger not Better

I guess it is "durable" I know my other Cuisinart next size down 11 or 12 cups food processor is wonderful. The new one is kind of hard to manage with line up in the back cumbersome and sometimes difficult. It is not nearly as "simple" as the old one.
It is quiet which is nicer I guess but I am frustrated trying to "get it lined up" so it will turn on. A pain.

Why is the design "harder"? I don't know. But it is. The old one whose blade was recalled and replaced was the best small appliance I ever had. I still have the old blade and am passing the whole item on to my daughter.Read full review

The Cuisinart Custom 14 Food Processor is a wonderful addition to my kitchen

I was surprised at how compact the base is, considering it has a 14 cup bowl. The Cuisinart Custom 14 is powerful and simple to run. It made pizza dough without slowing down.
It is a little tricky to set up for the first time, at least it was for me. All parts have to be locked together before the bowl will lock into place, so at first, I thought I had a defective unit because I kept trying to get the bowl to lock on and it wouldn't. User error... the pusher tube has a locking part too.

My fav kitchen tool

I love this machine!!!! I use it to make nut butters and sauces and its perfect! I will admit that when shredding it gets to a point where the nub of what ever vegetable cant be shredded any more 🤷‍♀️ so there is some waste. It is yet to overheat on me.
