Upgrading my iMac using Crucial memory

I had purchased a 27' iMac mid 2015. It came with only 8GB of DDR3L RAM. I wanted to upgrade the memory but I was apprehensive about the cost that Apple would charge me and the risk of getting it wrong if I had done it myself. Cutting a long story short, after watching various YouTube posts and reading various blogs, I decided to have a go at upgrading it myself. I had purchased 2 x 8 gb of Crucial RAM a couple of years ago to see how stable the system would be. This took the total capacity to 24 gb. Over the years there were no problems and everything ran ok. A few weeks ago, I had noticed that the price of these memory upgrade had fallen by half the amount that I had originally paid for them. I saw this as an ideal opportunity max out all my expansion slots and have my iMac running at optimum capacity. I had purchased a further 2 x 8GB of Crucial memory and I have noticed that the performance is faster. I am now running with 32 GB of RAM and everything is great so far. I'm glad I have done it myself and saved money. These products are really value for money and I highly recommend it to you.Read full review

New lease of life for ageing MBP

Has sped up my ‘mid 2012 non-retina 13” no end and is not over loaded when using multiple browser tabs like it used to with the stock 4gb.

Price and Delivery excellent

Product is visually fine but unable to verify performance
I bought these to try to upgrade a 2010 MacBook Pro but didn’t realise that the mhz rating was incompatible MY MISTAKE
Anyone one else doing this needs to use 1066mhz RAMRead full review

MacBook Pro RAM

MacBook Pro came with only 4GB RAM, the manual suggested this could be increased to 8GB, but I read elsewhere it could take up to 16GB. A relatively cheap upgrade, previously the computer was crashing on a heavy application and now appears to be running fine.Read full review

RAM that just works

Finally took the plunge on a pair of 8gb RAM for my ageing MBP. It’s not the computer it once was, but it certainly feels a little snappier now!
